Tanner Na`inoa Chee was born and raised on the island of `Oahu, Hawai`i. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture + Planning from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2015, and his Master's Degree in the Double Major of Interior Design and Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, New York in 2018.
His experience in architecture and design, working both individually and collaboratively, designing spaces where people can learn, appreciate and perceive space, enhancing sense of place, our relationship to others and the environment we inhabit, inspires his passion and love for design. His aspiration to seamlessly integrate his disciplines along with his interest in nature and the built environment has given him the ambition to strengthen his creative process and design aesthetic through multidisciplinary forms of design.
Tanner is currently a New York City-based designer in Architectural Lighting Design.
